It is the main source of livelihood for most Nigerians, both in terms of food production and providing millions of jobs. Along with crude oil, Nigeria relies on the agricultural products it exports to generate most of its national revenue. The Agricultural sector in Nigeria is made up of four sub-sectors: crop production, livestock, forestry and fishing

What Is Agriculture?

Why Is Agriculture Important?

A key to why agriculture is important to business and society is its output from producing raw materials to contributing to the global supply chain and economic development.

Why Is Agriculture Important for the Future?

CATFISH

We at flip farm resort offer a wide range of catfish processed products because consumers demand fewer catfish products but consume mostly one of the oldest and most highly demanded products, which is the dry stock catfish.

Catfish sales come in two major types, live or processed into products. But in Nigeria, live catfish is what customers mostly demand, and sometimes dry stock catfish. But either way, flip farms are able to get customers whatever catfish products they need.

MAIZE

Maize is a staple food and one of the most important food crops, with total production surpassing that of wheat or rice. Maize production is used for corn ethanol, animal feed, and other maize products, such as corn starch and corn syrup.

The six major types of corn are popcorn, flour corn, sweet corn, flint corn, dent corn, and pod corn. We are committed to delivering world-class commercial farms committed to cultivating and processing maize for Nigerian and global markets.

CASSAVA

We understand the cassava business, its intricacies, and its value chain. We cultivate organic and non-organic high-yield varieties of cassava species in commercial quantities for food production, livestock/animal feed, and industrial raw materials.

We are passionate about food security, and poverty alleviation. We are motivated to contribute our quota in expanding the agricultural capacity of Nigeria and in deploying first-class manufacturing infrastructure and best practices.
